Chitang’s Torta Original Torta de Argao

Chitang’s Torta de Argao recipe was discovered during the Spanish time. Eggwhites were used to glue the stones in building the church of St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Argao, Cebu. In order not to waste the eggyolks left, the locals utilized it by creating a delicacy now known as the torta de Argao.
